Blog Post

Our chicks now have all their feathers and they are so CUTE! They are in our chicken pen now, but they are in a corner since they aren't old enough to roost yet. My guinea pig Blackberry just got her hay rack upgraded it now looks like there is a tent on there. And I got her some new toys, she loves ringing her bell! I'm going to see if I can get some pictures soon. We got a new laptop so it's going to take a while to figure everything out. :-)

Chicks!

If you remeber my post from a long time ago about our chickens, were hatching some more baby chickens!!!!!!!!! If all of them hatch we will have a little over 2 DOZEN little baby chicks! They are in the inqubator right now, but on thursday or friday they will hatch! I will try to get pics. soon.

Spring!

Ok I know this is a little early to be saying "It's spring!" But I didn't have to wear a coat today so I'm saying it's spring. Me and two of my friends were walking across this tree that had fallen. Most of the tree wasn't on the ground, It had been where the tree was a fourth of a way up a small hill and at the bottem of the hill it went up into another hill. We got to where we could almost run across that tree, which was super hard for me because I was still wearing the shoes I went to church in, my mom says those shoes will be the death of me, because everytime I where them I trip but I hardly ever hit the ground because i'm good at catching myself. And for the book of the month I'm going to start doing those at the end of the month now.

Winter is here........And if you live where I live, you probobly wish that winter would just go already! With snow lasting a whole week when it normaly last only a few hours. With ice an inch thick on the road in front of our house, well long story short we want spring and 6 cars ended up in the ditch close to our house. But everyone was safe :-).

Woo Hoo!

Today it snowed! But we cant build anything, and I don't know where the camera is so I can't take pictures. But we got 5 inch. of snow! My cat furball LOVES playing in the snow, when it snows, she runs through the snow and jumping it's very funny to watch. She has a completly diffrent opinion on snow compared to Andy. Andy hates snow, so he stays on a chair that didn't get any snow on it. And the chickens freaked out when the snow coverd their whole chicken pen, they were flying up trying not to touch the snow, But since chickens can't fly that well, the chickens would land in the snow, and slide a little bit when they landed lol. And I'm making a list on this post to say what not to do when your out in the snow. ;)

What not do to when you are outside in the snow.
1. Do not trip...........................If you do the make a snow angel! Your already wet so it's a perfect excuse to make snow angels.
2. Do not run in the snow....................... If you do just read the one above this one. ^


As you can tell I did both of those. I ran then poof I was in the snow. I wish I could have seen it when I fell, because when I got up I saw some snow falling around were I was at. When it wasn't snowing lol .
